Aspid has released this - the GT-21 Invictus. It sounds like a hedge fund, but it's actually a 450bhp rear-wheel-drive GT that'll get from 0-60mph in under three seconds, top out at 189mph and pull 1.6g on the skidpad.
Despite the hoofing great BMW-sourced 4.4-litre V8, Aspid's kept weight to a piffling 989.7kg by using a composite panels and a spaceframe chassis. And they claim that, despite the diminutive mass, there's accommodation for four actual humans as well as room for modest luggage.

Underneath, there's a set of clever pushrod dampers, all-aluminium double wishbones, adaptive airbags, stability control and anti-lock brakes.
The company hopes to have the Invictus ready for 2014, but there's no word on pricing either.
